Go to bed * Wake Up * Eat Breakfast * Drive to work * Sit * Eat lunch * Sit and work some more * Drive home * Sit and watch TV * Go To Bed * Repeat!
Notice the trend here? Could it be too much sitting and not enough moving? This is what leads to serious muscle imbalances and so what do we do? We workout in hopes of getting better but the problem worsens due to lack of knowledge.
The key to eliminating back pain is to identify the muscle imbalances that are pulling the spine bones and joints out of place. We need to stretch the tight muscles and strengthen the weak muscles.
Most treatment plans offered only address the symptoms and do not address the issue that is causing the symptom, which usually delivers only temporary relief.
Muscle imbalance comes when you have overdeveloped muscles in one area and muscle strain occurs when a muscle or tendon that attaches it to the bone is overextended. This causes the muscle to tear or rip.
